Hon Kwok Land Investment Company, Limited is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company and provides management services to its subsidiaries. Its subsidiaries are mainly engaged in property development, property investment and property related activities. The Company operates in three segments: the property development segment develops properties for sale; the property investment segment holds investment properties for the generation of rental income, and the others segment comprises miscellaneous rental income generated by the Company other than income received from its investment properties and property management service fee income. The Company operates mainly in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Malaysia and Canada. In January 2009, the Company acquired additional 50% in another Chongqing vacant site from a joint venture partner. In July 2008, it disposed Yien Yieh Commercial Building site and sale of nine ground floor shops at Kensington Plaza in Jordan.
